Coated steel wire ropes contain an outer protective layer, which can be PVC or Nylon. The objective is to offer a longer useful life to the wire rope, in addition to greater durability, malleability and reduction in the number of maintenance. This PVC or Nylon protection is essential in corrosive or high abrasion environments.
At JCL company, the galvanized and polished steel wire ropes can be coated in PVC, Nylon PA6 and PA12, as required by the customer. Check the table below for the diameters corresponding to the coatings.
