Stainless steel ropes are produced in steel (alloy iron + carbon + chromium) without any type of surface finish. In this case, the very material with which the wires are made guarantees excellent protection against corrosion. Because of this, they are recommended for use in environments with aggressive corrosive atmosphere, such as chemical industries or marine environments. In electrification, they are used as conductors for low electric current and as grounding cables, to connect lightning rods and ground rods to the entire electrical discharge protection system.
